Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Crossbones ("Crossbones", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Crossbones lets you connect your social media accounts and schedule, manage, and publish content to them through each platform's official APIs. Features may change, and we may add or remove integrations over time.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract.
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
You must provide accurate information and have the authority to connect any accounts you link.

3. Your content

You retain all ownership of the content you upload or publish through Crossbones. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the service (e.g., to schedule and publish it to your connected accounts). You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to post it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Crossbones to:

Post content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or violates anyone's rights.
Spam, post at abusive volumes, or otherwise violate the rules of any connected platform.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
Circumvent any platform's terms, rate limits, or technical restrictions.

5. Third-party platforms

Crossbones publishes through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them. We are not responsible for changes, outages, rejections, or actions taken by those platforms (including content removal or account restrictions).

Crossbones is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

6. Availability & changes

The service is provided on an "as available" basis and is currently in early access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for reliable scheduling but cannot guarantee that every post will publish exactly as scheduled (e.g., due to platform outages, API changes, expired authorizations, or media that violates a platform's rules).

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crossbones is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crossbones and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or USD $50.

9. Termination

You may stop using Crossbones and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to Crossbones, other users, or third parties.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date; material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
